Cheshire Police Press Release
Revised Neighbourhood Policing Model
Hi Resident,
As you may be aware, at the beginning of the year the Chief Constable proposed a significant reduction in the number of Police Community Support Officers (PCSO's) within Cheshire. There followed a consultation and the end result was a reduction in the number of PCSO's but not as many as first proposed.
These measures were introduced on the 1st April and the force have now issued a press release:
This may have resulted in a change to your local policing team.
To find out who is in your local team now, click on the below link and enter your post code:
It specifically mentions-
Beat teams will continue regular contact with local faith groups, parish councils, local councillors, and Neighbourhood Watch groups.
